Case Studies - Investment Achievements

Case studies provide a window into the real-world success stories of art collectors and investors who have achieved impressive investment returns.

We advised a partner on an artist with a rising market. Taking advantage of the moving marketplace of
David Hockney, we sourced a work and facilitated a sale after four months.

Purchase price: $150,000
Sale price: $210,000
Profit: $60,000

Our value investing strategy lately has included buying and selling Andy Warhol Editions and Originals.
We acquired a Warhol Liz at an Auction and sold it privately after six weeks.

Purchase price: $60,000
Sale price: $86,000
Profit: $26,000

We had an opportunity to invest with three other partners, which all had a share of 25% in a full suite of Warhol Campbell’s
Soup Cans. The suite was held for two years and then resold privately to a museum in Pittsburgh. The condition of the
individual artworks was critical to the investment coming to fruition.

Purchase price: $750,000
Sale price: $1,125,000
Profit: $415,000 ($10,000 for shipping)

We saw an opportunity for our partners when an undervalued Kusama Infinity Nets came to market. We have identified that
this work needs to be held for several years to maximise, but we have received offers of more than $1.1m so far.

Purchase price: $780,000
Current High Offer: $1.160,000
Profit: yet to be sold

Four years ago, we guided a partner in purchasing a Lucio Fontana from a private collection in Japan. They planned to enjoy
this work until the time came when another opportunity arose. We advised them to hold onto this. We guided them through
the selling process and took the work to Auction in Autumn of 2023.

Purchase price: $600,000
Sale price: $1,000,000
Profit: $400,000
