Zurani x Teen Art Awards Qatar 2025

Empowering the next generation of artists through mentorship, knowledge, and opportunity

Education & Career Empowerment Partner

Zurani is proud to announce its role as an Education & Career Empowerment Partner at the Teen Art Awards Qatar 2025. This global initiative provides young artists with a platform to showcase their talent, while also equipping them with the tools and insights to shape sustainable futures in art.

Together, we are building a bridge between creativity, knowledge, and opportunity, ensuring teenage artists leave with more than just recognition, but also with the confidence and guidance to develop lasting careers.

Unlocking new opportunities for young artists

Workshops and mentorship

Zurani will deliver interactive sessions that offer teenagers genuine insight into how the art world operates. From understanding how galleries function to managing relationships with collectors, these workshops provide practical knowledge that demystifies the art market.

Practical art consulting

Talent is only part of the story. Our role involves providing participants with strategies to present their work professionally, build connections, and spot opportunities. This support enables young artists to approach their futures with clarity and confidence.

A lasting community

The Awards are more than just a competition; they are a journey. In collaboration with the Teen Art Awards team, we are creating a community of peers, mentors, and professionals where young creatives can continue to learn, experiment, and develop long after the festival concludes.

What are the Teen Art Awards?

The Teen Art Awards is a pioneering international initiative dedicated to empowering teenage creators aged 13 to 17. Launched in 2021 by the non-profit Art Coordinate Foundation, it has already reached young artists in over 60 countries
  • Season 1 (Russia, 2021): Hosted by the Russian Museum, attracting over 300 submissions and receiving the Silver Archer Award for Youth Vision.
  • Season 2 (UAE, 2023): Hosted at the SEE Institute in Dubai, featuring over 500 artworks exhibited, 14 million digital impressions, and finalist work showcased in New York’s Times Square.
  • Season 3 (Qatar, 2025): Hosted by Qatar Museums and The Teen Hub, exploring the theme of Preserving Cultural Heritage in the Era of New Technologies.
This year’s edition features open calls, school outreach, masterclasses, and public exhibitions, culminating in a three-day finale in Doha. Qatar now sits at the centre of a global dialogue on art, heritage, and innovation.

Zurani’s role in the partnership

As part of the 2025 programme, Zurani brings its advisory expertise into the education and cultural strands of the Awards:
  • Leading Art & Business sessions to help teenagers understand the professional aspect of art, from galleries and collectors to the wider market ecosystem.
  • Supporting artist meet-ups, mentorship labs, and masterclasses where participants receive first-hand guidance on building sustainable careers.
  • Contributing to panels on the future of art and education, ensuring youth perspectives are integrated with real-world insights into the market and cultural sector.
Our goal is to inspire young artists to look beyond the canvas. By combining creativity with knowledge, we prepare them to view their work not just as self-expression but as the foundation of a meaningful career and cultural legacy.

Why this matters for young artists in Qatar

Qatar is a nation that honours its cultural heritage while adopting technology and innovation. This vision makes it the perfect place for the Teen Art Awards.

The partnership with Zurani ensures that young artists in Qatar not only gain visibility but also acquire the professional skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the modern art world.

For teenagers, this means exploring their identity, heritage, and technology while learning to navigate the realities of building an artistic career.

For Qatar, it signifies an investment in the future of its creative economy and its alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030, strengthening its role as a leader in global cultural dialogue.

Looking ahead

The Teen Art Awards Qatar 2025 is more than a celebration of youth talent. It is a movement that connects past and future, tradition and technology, passion and professionalism.

By partnering with this initiative, Zurani is helping young artists across Qatar and beyond unlock their potential. Together, we are ensuring that their voices are not only heard today but will continue to shape the cultural landscape of tomorrow.
