Art advisory and investment services
The Market
Art as an asset class — understood properly
The art market operates unlike any other asset class. Transactions are private, access is relationship-driven, and understanding what constitutes genuine value requires deep market knowledge. For family offices, wealth managers and private collectors, the right guidance transforms complexity into opportunity.
Zurani was established to provide exactly that. We offer six integrated disciplines under a single advisory relationship, structured around complete independence from galleries, dealers, auction houses and insurance providers.
Who We Work With
Who we advise: family offices, wealth managers and collectors
Our partners include family offices managing multi-generational wealth, private banks and wealth managers seeking specialist art advisory for clients, institutional and corporate collectors, and individual collectors at every stage of their journey, from first acquisition to estate planning.
We work on a retained advisory basis, on a project basis, or through the Zurani Private Investment Programme for those seeking managed, direct-market participation. Every relationship begins with a private conversation.
Our Approach

Art Investment
Art investment demands a unique kind of expertise. Unlike traditional assets, the market is largely unregulated, opaque, and reliant on relationships. Success hinges on access, judgement, and the ability to interpret both cultural and financial cues simultaneously.
We take the time to assess your objectives, risk appetite, time horizon, and collecting preferences before developing a responsible, data-driven investment strategy. By integrating strategy, acquisitions, portfolio management, and AI-powered analytics, we provide a comprehensive advisory service throughout the entire art ownership lifecycle.
Art Advisory
The art market is opaque, relationship-driven and frequently misaligned with buyers' interests. Most advisors have undisclosed relationships with galleries, dealers or auction houses, creating conflicts of interest that are rarely visible to those they advise.
Zurani exists outside of that structure. Our only obligation is to our partners, we advise. Every recommendation we make is shaped solely by your objectives. Never by a relationship on the other side of the transaction.
Art Consultancy & Curation
We believe the finest corporate and residential art programmes are founded on the same principles as the best private collections: a clear curatorial voice, genuine expertise, and a long-term outlook.
Art in a space should not merely serve as decoration; it ought to create meaning, convey values, and, when selected thoughtfully, appreciate in value over time.
Our consultancy service combines curatorial thinking with genuine expertise. Every piece we recommend meets both standards: it belongs in the space and it resonates long after the first impression.
Appraisals & Valuations
A valuation is only as trustworthy as the independence of the appraiser. Many valuation services are offered by galleries, dealers, and auction houses, all of which have a financial interest in the outcome. An inflated insurance valuation results in higher premiums. An estate valuation favouring a seller leads to higher sale fees.
Zurani appraisals are independent by design. We have no relationships that create financial incentives to inflate or deflate a valuation. Our only obligation is accuracy.
Art Insurance
Standard home or contents insurance policies are not suitable for art collections. They often have sublimits that limit payouts well below replacement value, exclusions for transport, loans, and temporary displays, and claims processes managed by general loss adjusters without specialised art market knowledge.
The impact is felt at the most critical time: after loss or damage, when proper coverage is essential. We help our partners with specialised coverage tailored for collections, with no sublimits, worldwide protection including transit, and claims support from experts who understand the art market.
Education Programme
The art market rewards those who understand it and takes advantage of those who do not. It is an environment where prices are opaque, relationships matter greatly, and buyers without deep expertise often overpay, acquire poorly, and misunderstand what they own.
Our education programmes are designed to bridge that gap, providing family office teams, collectors, and next-generation investors with the fundamental knowledge they need to engage in the art market with confidence and clarity.
