Key Themes

Digital Art

In a nod to the rising significance of immersive and digital media, the fair prominently features artworks that merge cutting-edge technology with creative expression. Doku the Creator by LuYang, showcased in the Encounters section, exemplifies this movement. The piece employs virtual avatars and interactive design to question identity, spirituality, and humanity.

Asia-Pacific Representation

More than half of this year’s exhibitors hail from the Asia-Pacific region, offering a platform for the region’s diverse voices and artistic practices. Through curated solo projects and large-scale installations, these artists explore socio-political themes, cultural narratives, and personal histories unique to their backgrounds, underlining the richness of Asia-Pacific art.

VIP Preview and Atmosphere

Held on 26 March, the VIP preview drew prominent collectors, curators, and art aficionados seeking early access to the fair’s most sought-after works. Attendees noted a more measured approach to acquisitions, reflecting an evolving art market where discerning taste and insight guide collecting decisions. Despite this caution, the atmosphere remained buoyant, with visitors revelling in the fair’s dynamic return.
